Artist Julio Le Parc is an emblematic figure in the history of art. Born in Argentina in 1928, he was a forerunner of Kinetic Art and Op Art, co-founded the Groupe de recherché d'art visuel (G.R.A.V.) and received the International Grand Prize for Painting at the Venice Biennale in 1966.
